Refund Policy
When money comes back, how to ask for it, and how long it takes β in plain language.
Effective: August 2, 2026 Β· version 1.1
This page sets out how refunds and cancellations work for a Kolora subscription at kolora.io.
It restates, in plainer language, the βCancellation, refunds and consumer rightsβ section of the Terms of Use. Nothing here adds to or takes away from those terms; where the wording differs, the Terms govern.
It does not derogate from rights that cannot be contracted out of under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations. Where a clause here conflicts with such a right, the statutory right prevails.
1.The short version
Every subscription starts with 30 days free. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged at all. Cancel any time after that, in one click, with no fee and no retention process β and within 14 days of the first payment, without material use of the Service, you get that payment back. Beyond that, a period already begun is not refunded, but nothing further is charged and you keep access until it ends.
A payment method is required to start the trial, and the subscription renews automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
2.The 30-day free trial
Every new subscription begins with a 30-day trial of the plan you chose. The plan's full features are available throughout it, and no payment is taken during it.
- A payment method is required β The trial is started at checkout, where a card or other payment method is entered. It is not charged while the trial runs.
- It renews automatically β At the end of the 30 days the plan's regular price is charged automatically, and monthly from then on, unless the subscription is cancelled before the trial ends. The date the trial ends is shown on your account screen.
- Cancelling during the trial costs nothing β Cancel at any point before the trial ends β in one click from the account screen, from the payment processor's customer portal, or by writing to us β and no payment is taken. Access continues until the trial's end date.
- One trial per account β The trial is offered once. A subscription started again on an account that has already had its trial begins as a paid subscription, charged at checkout.
3.Cancelling a subscription
- Cancel at any time β In one click from the account screen in the app, from the payment processor's customer portal, or by writing to support@kolora.io. There is no minimum commitment, no cancellation fee, and no retention process you have to sit through.
- When it takes effect β Within 3 business days of the notice being given, or 6 business days if sent by registered post. At that point renewal stops and there is no further charge.
- Access until the period ends β By default you keep the plan until the end of the period already paid for, after which the account returns to the free state. If you would rather access stopped immediately, say so in the cancellation notice.
4.The 14-day cancellation right
A subscription is a continuing transaction concluded as a distance sale, which carries a statutory cancellation right.
- 14 days β You may cancel within 14 days of entering the transaction, or of receiving the transaction-details document, whichever is later.
- What comes back β Where the cancellation is made without material use of the Service, the payment is refunded. The law permits a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction price or ILS 100, whichever is lower. Kolora does not charge one.
- Persons with disabilities, senior citizens and new immigrants β Where the transaction followed a conversation with us, including online correspondence, the cancellation period is 4 months from the transaction, from receipt of the service, or from receipt of the transaction-details document, whichever is later. We may ask for supporting documentation, as the law permits.
5.Periods already used
- A period that has begun β Apart from the rights above and any other statutory duty, payment for a period that has already started is not refunded, because the Service was available to use throughout it.
- Periods that have not begun β Payment for future periods that have not started is refunded. On an annual plan this is what a mid-term cancellation returns.
- Part-months β Cancelling partway through a month does not produce a partial refund of that month; it stops the next charge and leaves your access running to the end of it.
6.If the Service fails you
The above is about changing your mind. This is about us not delivering.
- Unavailable or broken β If the Service was in fact unavailable, or did not provide the core features of your plan, for a significant period, we will offer a pro-rata refund or an extension of the period β your choice.
- A feature you bought the plan for β A materially adverse change to a feature that is a core part of the plan you bought entitles you to cancel and to a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
- Time limit β Raise it within 60 days of the event so we can still check what happened.
7.How to request a refund
Write to support@kolora.io from the email address on the account. There is no form to fill in.
- What to include β The account email and, if you have it, the payment reference from your receipt. Saying briefly what went wrong helps, but is not a condition of a refund you are entitled to.
- Our response β We aim to reply within 3 business days, and to decide within 14 days of receiving the request.
- Where the money goes β A refund is returned to the original payment method. We cannot send it anywhere else β that is a limitation of the payment network, not a policy choice.
- How long it takes to appear β Once issued, the funds are typically visible within 5β10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. That last step is outside our control.
8.Who takes the payment
Payments are processed by an external payment provider acting as merchant of record. It is the party that appears on your card statement, issues the invoice, and executes the refund on our instruction.
- Card details β Card numbers are entered on the provider's own payment page and are never received or stored by Kolora.
- Either route works β You may cancel or ask for a refund through the provider's customer portal or directly with us at support@kolora.io. Both reach the same place.
- Chargebacks β If something has gone wrong, please write to us first. A chargeback raised without contact usually takes far longer to resolve than an email, and we would rather simply refund you.
